Fitspire: Designing India's Vegan Wellness Revolution

As a designer and brand strategist, the Fitspire project became an inspiring collaboration blending creative discovery with the founders’ ambitious vision. F

itspire wasn’t just another wellness brand; it was India’s first vegan supplements company, built with a clear mission: to inspire fitness and empower healthier, greener lifestyles.

The Visionaries’ Dream

My first meeting with Vipen Jain, alongside co-founders Nidhi Jain and Hinah Sawhney, was energizing. Their clarity of purpose was contagious they envisioned a future in which wellness and entrepreneurship could co-exist, and a vegan lifestyle wasn’t just an alternative, but a movement.

Their goal: democratise high-quality vegan supplements and open business avenues for healthy living advocates.

Brand Discovery: Conversations to Creation

Our sessions were honest and collaborative, focusing on integrity, quality, and empowerment. Fitspire’s brand language needed to feel transformative each visual and verbal choice was rooted in their greater purpose.

The logo centered on “Personal Life Covered in Green Lifestyle.” The human figure, petals for veganism, and embracing ellipse represented completeness and wellbeing designed for clarity and adaptability across every channel.

Color & Visual Strategy

The brand’s palette was intentionally vegan and eco-friendly, reflecting Fitspire’s values:

Blue: Trust and boundless wellness potential.
Green: Renewal, eco-consciousness—the core philosophy.
Black & Beige-Red: Strength, confidence, and human balance.

Every brand asset carried this energy of abundance and wellness.

Typography & Print Media

Our typography choices Quicksand for headlines, Open Sans for body text balanced energy with professionalism.

From packaging to print, the “aspire to fitness” message unified Fitspire’s brand touchpoints.

Packaging Design: Brand Meets Shelf Power

Working on Fitspire’s packaging was a major growth experience for me as a designer. Creating packs for FSSAI-licensed products introduced me to new technical and regulatory nuances within the food and wellness sector. The process involved:

Multiple iterations and refinements based on feedback from the Fitspire team, manufacturers, and FSSAI compliance requirements.
Detailed attention to layout, labeling, and information hierarchy to meet legal norms while keeping the design inviting and authentic.

Although it required significant back-and-forth and a steep learning curve, navigating these challenges made the finished packaging even more rewarding each product now stands out on the shelf, communicates trust, and fully complies with industry standards.
