Reimagining a Perfume Website as an Interactive Journey

Most perfume websites follow a familiar pattern: a hero banner, product grid, a few lifestyle images, and a checkout button.

For this concept, I wanted to explore a different question:

What if discovering a fragrance felt like entering its world rather than browsing a catalog?

AURELLE is a concept perfume brand website built around immersive storytelling and interaction. Instead of navigating through traditional sections, users are taken on a cinematic journey controlled entirely by scroll.

The experience begins underwater. As visitors scroll, they move deeper through the ocean toward a mysterious house hidden beneath the surface. The environment evolves, details emerge, and anticipation builds until the house’s doors slowly open.

Once inside, the website transforms into a digital fragrance gallery.

Brand stories, craftsmanship, and product information are revealed through floating glass-like interfaces that feel integrated into the environment rather than layered on top of it. Perfume bottles appear as elegant three-dimensional objects, suspended in space, inviting exploration through movement and interaction.

The goal wasn’t to create another e-commerce website.

The goal was to create a sense of discovery.
